4 Years of Action: What We’ve Built Together🤝
On June 23th, 2021, we hit record on a big idea: what if storytelling could accelerate the transition to a sustainable world? Since then, Pique has grown into a climate culture engine - powered by creativity, community, passion as well as a little bit of anxiety and caffeine. Today, we’re looking back with gratitude on the impact you’ve helped us make, and a few stats that we’re low-key proud of. Read on for insights from the field, and real-life evidence on how the right stories, told well, can create meaningful change toward a healthier world.

What These Past Four Years Have Meant to Us 💡
Four years ago, we set out with a bold goal to shift the climate narrative. Today, we pause to reflect on how far we’ve come - with your help. We launched Pique Action with a video and an article. Since then, we’ve grown into a storytelling force by spotlighting unsung heroes, building a loyal audience, partnering with visionary changemakers, and helping climate innovators get the visibility (and results!) that they deserve.
Since then, the world has gotten hotter - literally and politically. Climate policies are being rolled back. Democratic norms are under pressure. Record temperatures are here before summer even really begins.
Let’s be clear: a video won’t save the planet. But stories can influence who shows up. And when more people show up, everything becomes possible.
Looking back on our impact goes beyond just the things we’ve made. We’re celebrating the movement we’ve built together. But how does one measure four years? Here are a few ways:
👀 56,908,845 views across originals, client projects, and campaigns
🎥 1,009 original videos (we counted)
🫂 194 Team members hired and supported
📍16 countries & 24 states (MAP) filmed in - from coral reefs to Capitol Hill
📷 232 Shoot Days logged
🍿46 Events/Speeches/Panels
📰 Pique has been covered in Axios, NPR, LA Times, Forbes, AdWeek, Inside Climate News

Thank You For Being Part of The Story 📖
We’ve created climate-forward content for Google, Meta, Stripe, YouTube, Department of Energy, Conservation International, and many others. But more importantly, we’ve learned how to make those stories work harder.
Qualitatively and quantitatively, our NextNow films have helped climate tech companies scale, fundraise, close customers, and recruit.
We had a couple of clients reach out who had previously stalled, who then watched the video and now are totally bought in. I knew that this type of content was important, but wow it has really opened a lot of doors. -Ben Christensen, CEO and co-founder of Cambium Carbon
"Working with Pique exceeded expectations by every measure. We spent a single day with them, and yet they managed to capture the essence of the company, what we're doing, and why we find it so meaningful. The micro-documentary they produced is now our go-to video that we show to prospective customers because it communicates what we're about so well. The sales team LOVES it!" - Kathy Hannun, Founder & President, Dandelion Energy
We’re hugely grateful for your support, brilliance, and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the work with us. Here’s just a glimpse at the community that’s fueled us over the past four years: Harvard, Los Angeles Climate Week, Carbon Collective, GreenBiz, Carbonauts, Earth Day, LACI, One Earth, NowThis, Hollywood Climate Summit, Film2Future, True/False FF, Climate Film Festival, Dandelion Collective, and many others.
We couldn’t have done any of this without our collaborators, supporters, viewers, and fellow believers in creative climate action. The past four years have taught us that the right story, told well, can spark real change. We’re in this together! Thank you all for being part of it!

🎁 Some Value for You - Insights from the Field:
👉Humanize your tech. Our content with climate startups shows that personal, behind-the-scenes storytelling can make startups more compelling to investors and potential hires.
👉Narratives scale trust. Authentic stories told by people, not institutions or brands, build trust faster than any white paper or press release.
👉Culture eats carbon for breakfast. When climate stories appear in pop culture, people who’ve never read an IPCC report start to care and act.
👉 Hiring for climate tech? Use video to spotlight real humans behind the solutions. It makes a difference.👉 Trying to break through the noise? Focus on emotion before education. Heart first, head second.
👉 Feeling burned out? Culture is a renewable resource. Come recharge.
What’s Next? 📈
The next chapter is already in motion. New films. Bigger collaborations. Deeper impacts. And as always, more climate storytelling with soul. Be on the lookout for provocative feature documentaries with powerful social action campaigns. We are looking to scale impact, and we believe that fact-based content combined with community engagement are the keys.
Thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to four more years of shifting the narrative and to the future. More stories. More solutions. More action. Let’s keep building the culture of climate action together!
One love,
